WiC Advisory Committee members will provide advice and counsel to MEA management on issues that relate to the development of women in contracting roles.
The WiC Advisory Committee will engage with and enhance the lives of women in the electrical industry and encourage them to voice their opinion on the profession and challenges faced. It will identify and implement a variety of initiatives that will benefit MEA through the growth and engagement of members and non-members.
The Committee’s role is to provide input into the direction, content and delivery of the annual WiC program. It will consist of a Chairperson, three Master Electricians Member representatives, one non-Member representatives, and the Master Electricians Australia General Manager of Membership Services.
